N, nd	ñ, ñð No Tamil word has 'ýð' appearing in it. So, there is no need to type maNdai, aNdam etc. to generate 'Áñ¨¼', '«ñ¼õ' etc. 'mandai', 'andam' etc. itself will do. i.e. mandai         = Áñ¨¼ andam          = «ñ¼õ At the same time, suppose a place name is 'mandir' and is written in Tamil as 'ÁýÊ÷'. You can generate this also judiciously using  capital 'D'. i.e. type 'manDir'. It will generate 'ÁýÊ÷'. n,   nh, ndh, nth	ó, ó, óò, óò 1) At the start of a word, 'n' is always treated as 'ó'. A word can start after dot(.), space( ), comma(,), slash(/) etc. etc. Everywhere, starting ‘n’ is treated as  'ó' only. naan            = ¿¡ý    2) Since 'n' is treated as 'ý' in the middle of a word, type 'nh' to get 'ó' in the middle of a word. maanhagaram        = Á¡¿¸Ãõ 3) 'ndh' is treated as 'óò'. So, no need to type 'banhdham' to get Àó¾õ.  ' bandham ' will do. bandham      = Àó¾õ 4) ' nth' is also treated as ' óò'. rajnikaanth        = Èɢ¸¡óò

y, aai, oi, Oi, eo, eO	There is no need to use 'y' and type kaay,  koy, poy, pOy, liyo, liyO etc. to get ¸¡ö, ¦¸¡ö, ¦À¡ö, §À¡ö, Ä¢¦Â¡, Ä¢§Â¡ etc. The normal way one would type, like  kaai, koi, poi, pOi, leo, leO itself will generate the above Tamil words. i.e. kaai              = kaay    = ¸¡ö koi                = koy = ¦¸¡ö poi               = poy = ¦À¡ö pOi               = pOy= §À¡ö leo               = liyO = Ä¢§Â¡ leO               = liyO = Ä¢§Â¡
h	‹ Many are accustomed to type names like 'barani', 'bavan', 'javahar' etc. as 'bharani', 'bhavan', 'jhavahar' etc., where the 'h' is silent.
