Just because 'tr' is mapped to 'üü', it does not mean you cant transliterate the name of a
person like 'Patrick' properly. Typing 'pEtrik' gives you '§ÀüÈ¢ì' only but you can always type
'pETrik' or 'pETric' or 'paeTric' to achieve what you wanted exactly. i.e. typing 'pETrik' will
give you the intended '§Àðâì'
. Here capital 'T' has been used judiciously to get what you
wanted. Some more examples : bandham, banDham, bandHam, EndhaanO, EnDhaanO -
these 5 English words produce Àó¾õ, Àý¾õ, Àýð†õ, ²ó¾¡§É¡, ²ý¾¡§É¡ respectively. Well, we cant provide an exhaustive list of the judicious use of capital
letters. The thing to be noted is that you can generate Tamil equivalent for any English text.
In case you are unable to do it (in rare cases) in TT, you can always resort to NTT.
