Just because people have knowledge of the immanence of Divine, and even of His transcendence, they cannot be honoured as people of wisdom (jnanis), for knowledge has to be digested through actual experience. This is the crucial test. It’s not enough if the intellect nods approval and is able to prove that Godhead is all. That belief must penetrate and prompt every moment of living and every act of the believer. Wisdom shouldn’t be merely a bundle of thoughts or a packet of neatly constructed principles. Faith must enliven and enthuse every thought, word, and deed. The self must be soaked in the nectar of spiritual wisdom. The intellect is a poor instrument, for what the intellect approves as correct today is rejected tomorrow by the same intellect on second thought! Intellect cannot judge things finally and for all time! Therefore, seek the experience. Once that experience is won, Atma can be understood “as all this”. That’s Jnana-yoga of wisdom!(Sathya Sai Vahini Ch.10)

GRADUALLY ONE SHOULD TURN ONE’S VISION INWARD AND EXPERIENCE THE ONENESS OF THE ATMA. - BABA.

இறைவன் அனைத்திலும் இருக்கிறான் என்ற அறிவையும் மேலும் அவன் அனைத்திற்கு அப்பாற்பட்டும் இருக்கிறான் என்ற அறிவையும் கூட மனிதர்கள் பெற்றிருப்பதால் மட்டுமே, அவர்களை ஞானிகள் என்று கௌரவிக்க முடியாது, ஏனெனில், இந்த அறிவை உண்மையான அனுபவத்தின் மூலமே கிரஹித்துக் கொள்ள முடியும். இதுவே முக்கியமான சோதனையாகும். அனைத்தும் இறைவனே என்று புத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு நிரூபிக்க முடிந்தால் மட்டும் போதாது. அந்த நம்பிக்கை, நம்புபவரின் வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்திலும், ஒவ்வொரு செயலிலும் ஊடுருவி உந்துதல் அளிக்க வேண்டும். ஞானம் என்பது சிந்தனைகளின் வெறும் ஒரு மூட்டையாகவோ அல்லது நேர்த்தியாக கட்டப்பட்ட கொள்கைகளின் ஒரு தொகுப்பாகவோ இருக்கக்கூடாது. நம்பிக்கை, ஒவ்வொரு சிந்தனை, சொல் மற்றும் செயலுக்கும் உயிரூட்டி உற்சாகம் அளிக்க வேண்டும். ஆன்மிக ஞானம் எனும் அமுதத்தில் ஆத்மா தோய்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும். புத்தி ஒரு தரமற்ற கருவியாகும், ஏனென்றால் இன்று எது சரியானது என்று புத்தி ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறதோ, அதே புத்தி மறுசிந்தனையில் நாளையே அதை நிராகரித்துவிடுகிறது! புத்தியால் விஷயங்களை இறுதியாகவும், நிரந்தரமாகவும் தீர்மானிக்க முடியாது! எனவே, அனுபவத்தை நாடுங்கள். ஒருமுறை அந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றுவிட்டால், ஆத்மாதான் “இவை அனைத்தும்” என்று புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியும். அதுவே ஞானயோகமாகும்!
