How to have names of files and folders in Tamil?

Note the following carefully at the outset:

1. Folder/File naming in Tamil is possible only if you do 'Unicode Tamil Input', which facility is available only in Professional version of Azhagi.

2. Using Azhagi, 'Unicode Input' is possible in Windows XP/2K but not in Win 9X/ME.

If the above conditions are satisfied, then you can avail the "Power of Unicode" and do 'File and Folder naming', 'Find & Replace', 'Sorting' etc. in Tamil too.

To achieve 'File/Folder naming' in Tamil:

Click and open the folder (say c:\testing) in Windows Explorer.

In c:\testing, suppose you want to change the names of folder by name 'folder1' and file by name 'file1' to some Tamil names.

Right click on 'folder1', click on 'Rename' and type your new name for folder1 in TAMIL and press 'enter'. Right click on 'file1', click on 'Rename' and type your new name for file11 in TAMIL and press 'enter'. Thats all to it.
