To transact via your credit card is a simple and straightforward process. Yet, it helps to know the following.
- You will see 5 options in the final 'billing details entry' page (wherein you will be entering your credit card particulars too) viz.:
- Pay by Credit Card
- Pay by ATM-cum-Debit card
- Pay using your Internet Enabled Bank Account
- Pay by PayMate (Mobile Payment)
- Pay by ItzCash Cards
- You should take care to see that you choose 'Pay by Credit Card' option and not the others.
- You should enter your credit card address very correctly, in FULL. After clearly mentioning your city/state/zip, choose your country name correctly too.
- Please ENSURE that you type out your email address correctly. Please have a double-check on this because once the transaction is successful, you will be immediately sent a confirmation mail by Ccavenue (ccavenue.com - our online payment gateway service provider) with all the particulars of your order like Order number, Order date, Amount etc. etc. So, if you don't input your email address correctly, you will not receive this important mail which is your 'receipt' too for the order you placed. Further, if you don't input the email address correctly, this important mail may bounce back to Ccavenue and their 'risk management team' might classify your order as a suspicious one.
- When you click on the drop-down menu which says 'Card Type', it will list the card types like 'Visa', 'American Express', 'Diners Club' etc. and you have to choose the appropriate one, CORRECTLY.
- When entering the credit card number, type it continuously. DO NOT enter it as 4-digit numbers separated by hyphen or space. For ex: If your credit card number is 1234 5678 8765 4321 , then enter it as "1234567887654321" and *NOT* as 1234-5678-8765-4321 or as "1234 5678 8765 4321".
- Take care to see that you type your credit card number correctly without any mistake in any of the digits. Have a double-check on this after typing out your number.
- Card verification number is a must entry. This 3-digit number will be found at the BACK of any credit card. Do note it carefully and type it CORRECTLY.
- After you enter your details correctly and click the 'Submit Form' button, the credit card verification/authorisation process will start and it will take a few seconds to complete. Please be patient during this time and *do not* click the 'Refresh' button or 'Back' button at any point.
- In case you committed a mistake at some point (inspite of your careful checking), your transaction will fail. If that happens, do not press the 'Back' button and try correcting your card details therein again. Close ALL your browser windows COMPLETELY. Start your browser again. Visit www.azhagi.com again. Place a fresh order by visiting Azhagi's online payment page and effect a new and fresh transaction. If you do not follow this procedure and keep correcting your entries in the same form again and again, your transaction may continue to fail.
- If you are sure that you are not committing any mistake and still your transaction is failing repeatedly, then:
a) Check to see, just in case, that the 'credit limit' for your card has not been reached.
b) If there is no problem reg. your 'credit limit', we suggest you place your order again after a gap of 24 hours minimum.
